She was born June 3, 1990, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Jack and Shelly Barmettler. Amber attended Cache Public Schools from kindergarten to her graduation in 2008, during her school years she was very active in 4-H and FFA were she exhibited pigs across the nation bringing home many ribbons, trophies and awards, supported by her grandparents and aunt. She was also a little athlete where she played T-ball, softball and basketball and participated in gymnastics, in high school she developed a love of golf from her dad and brother and played high school golf going to the state tournament four years with her teammates and beloved Coach Hunt.

She then went to Western Oklahoma State College in Altus, Oklahoma on a golf scholarship where she obtained an associate degree. Amber loved life but her greatest LOVE was her beautiful daughter Remington Rose Barmettler, she was the light of her life, she was so proud of her abilities to draw, show sheep and especially gymnastics. She was the “Queen of Halloween”, decorating her home winning the city of Cache contest in 2022. She was never outdone in designing remarkable costumes for her daughter, niece and nephews.
