Graveside service for Terry L. Billings was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, with Rev. Rodney Campbell, Lawton, officiating.

Terry L Billings, 56, of Lawton, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in Lawton. He was born April 25, 1968, in Lawton, to William Russell and Dorthy Mae (David) Billings.

Terry spent his childhood in Lawton and attended Lawton Public Schools. He worked for Billings Tree Service, and briefly built mini-storage units in Florida, before returning to Oklahoma to retire early due to an ongoing disability. Though he never married, he loved children and family. He loved to cut up and make people laugh. He also enjoyed spending time with friends, and his furry companion Angel. Before his health declined, Terry enjoyed cooking, lifting weights, and spending time outside. He enjoyed singing and would serenade family and friends with songs by Merl Haggard and George Jones. He had a kind heart, and would offer a helping hand, if he could. Terry’s passionate personality, big hugs, and love for his family will be dearly missed.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Steve, Marvin, and James Billings, and furry companion Sam.

He is survived by his two brothers: Billy Billings and wife Donna, of Lawton, and Pat Billings and wife Tara, of Oklahoma City; three nieces: Tracey Brian (Troy), Brandy Wright (Jason), and Thalia Billings; three great nieces: Shelby Dehne (Hunter), Karis Chambers (Chad), and Kendall Jones; one great nephew, Justin Brian (Kennedy); one uncle, Eddie Billings (Virginia) of Fletcher; numerous cousins and friends; and extended family: Gary Walker; Johnathan, Wesley, Trinitey, Aries and Serenity Smith; Shanell Pueblo; Felesha Barber (Carey); Gabby John; Ross Johnson; and Alison and Tucker Bass.
