Funeral Service for Joe Elbert Sorrow was 1 PM on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Comanche Nation Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Darnell and Tina Baker officiating. Burial followed at Post Oak Cemetery, Indiahoma under the direction of Comanche nation Funeral Home. 
Joe Elbert Sorrow went to his heavenly home on May 23, 2025 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was born on May 23, 1967 in Lawton to Walton & Cody Sorrow. He graduated from Ninnekah High School. Joe reconnected with the love of his life Michelle Roberts at Walmart where she was was employed. They where married August 12, 2022. He was a proud member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma. He was an avid Sooners Fan, loved fishing, baseball, outdoors and loved his grandchildren and family. He is survived by 5 siblings and their families, Kimmie (Randall) Shipman, Denis Wood, Claudia (Alan) Krone, Marceline (Joseph) Carroll, James Estes & Kristy Monson; Michelle's 2 son's Joseph Roberts and Shane Roberts which he considered his own son's; nieces and nephews: Shyann, Jennifer, Tamra, Joey, Brandon, Grayden, Carrie, Ryan, Clarissa, Jared, Jarika, Jaycee, Brianna & Jeremy his granddaughter Pamala, He is preceded in death by his parents: Walton & Cody Sorrow; wife: Michell (Roberts)Sorrow; son: Mark Cochran; Maternal Grandparents: Joe Bigbow and Mae Bigbow Paternal Grandparents: Elbert Sorrow and Myrtle Sorrow.
