Clayton "Bill" Brooking

December 24, 1937 – February 21, 2026
“My mom said, “Bill, you are the best Christmas present I ever got”. Bill Brooking was born on December 24, 1937 at home in Cache, Oklahoma to JC and Robbie Brooking. He passed on Saturday, February 21, 2026 in Oklahoma City.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Ann. 
Bill had four children: Denisa Brooking (Lou), Michael Brooking (Rhonda), Jana Branson and Scott Brooking. Three stepchildren: Donna Taylor (John), Debbie Morrison, and Gayle Taylor along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bill loved eating and playing dominoes at the Cache Senior Center where he tended to be a bit onery and “bend the rules” with his playing partners. He also loved to dance with his wife Ann and listen to live music.
