Larry Schlosser, 59 of Lawton and former Cache resident, passed away April 1, 2026 after his battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 8 at 3:00PM at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
Larry was born an only child to Larry and Florence (Hilton) Schlosser in Lowell, MA on December 28, 1966. He graduated Lawton High School in 1986. He joined the Marines in 1989 and was honorably medically retired in 1996. Larry worked at Cameron University in the carpentry department. He retired from the carpentry department at Fort Sill in 2018.
Larry enjoyed huntin’, fishin’ and campin’. He was an excellent cook, baker and concoction maker (Apple Pie Moonshine). He loved to travel, piddle and meander!
Larry is survived by his fiancée Maria Thompson of Lawton, sons Carl Schlosser and wife Rebecca of Lemoore, CA and Seth Schlosser and wife Ariel of Midwest City, OK, grandchildren Liliana and Emmett, his furry friend Sissy and all his Marine brothers and sisters and a multitude of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
