Phillip L. Cummings

Funeral service for Phillip L. Cummings, 68, of Walters will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Wichita Baptist Church, Cache, OK with Brother Greg Schulz officiating. 

Phillip passed away on Monday, May 26, 2026 in Wichita Falls, Texas. 

Burial will follow at Cache Cemetery, Cache, OK under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.  

Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a special viewing and visitation for family and friends on Sunday  from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Phillip was born on September 3, 1957 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Billy and Delamay (Fonvilled) Cummings. He grew up in Lawton where he attended school. Phillip married Debra Gray on March 28, 1997. They moved to Tennessee and later returned to Cache, OK in 2008. Debra passed away on March 21, 2023. Phillip worked for the City of Lawton, retiring in February of 2026. He. was a member of Wichita Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and he also was an ordained clergyman. Phillip was a proud Mason with the Grandfield Lodge 378. He enjoyed going dancing and in his younger days, Phillip was a bull rider. 

He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Kile, of Lawton, OK; his step daughter and husband, Melissa Moore and Graham Munn, of Oregon; his step son and wife, Jonathan and Brittany Bolin, of SC; his brother, Charlie Cummings, of Lawton, OK; his sister, Gay Drumm and her husband; his grandchildren, including Jaxson Kile, Luka Kile, Kameron Kile, and Kove Massa; his nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.   

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Delamay Cummings; his wife, Debra Cummings; and his brother, Gary Cummings.
