END OF WATCH
CPL Kelton B. Reese
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Town of Sterling announces the passing of Corporal Kelton B. Reese.
We mourn an officer, a colleague, and a member of our Sterling family. We honor his service and the commitment he made to protecting our community. His absence will be deeply felt, and his service will not be forgotten.
Our hearts are with CPL Reese’s family, loved ones, and fellow officers as they face this heartbreaking loss. We ask our community to keep them in your prayers and respect their privacy as they grieve.
In the difficult days ahead, may we stand together, care for one another, and surround those who loved him with compassion and support.
Rest peacefully, Corporal Reese. Thank you for your service to the Town of Sterling.
Forever honored. Forever remembered.
Mayor Dale Winkler, Police Chief Rickey Snider, Fire Chief Chris Holden, Sterling Board of Trustees,  and all Town of Sterling employees.

In a small town, we look out for one another—and right now, one of our own needs us.
Following a serious traffic accident, our officer and his family are facing an incredibly difficult time. While we cannot take away what they are going through, we can remind them they do not have to face it alone.
If you are able, please consider donating to help ease the burden of medical bills, family expenses, and other needs during this time. Every donation, every share, and every prayer is a meaningful way to show your support.
Let’s surround Kelton and his family with the love, strength, and generosity of the community he serves.
