Bart Everett McNeil

Funeral service for Bart Everett McNeil was 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Geronimo, with Pastor Steve Mallow of Immanuel Baptist Church, Lawton, and Pastor John C. Cullison of First Baptist Church of Geronimo officiating.

Interment followed in Walters Cemetery, Walters. Under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Bart E. McNeil, 57, of Summit, Mississippi formerly of Avondale, Louisiana and Geronimo, passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022 in New Orleans, Louisiana at Ochsner Hospital.

Bart was born in Lawton, on May 8, 1965 to Tracy D. and Alcie L. (Baughman) McNeil.

Bart was employed by TFG for the past 39 years as a Service Tech and Service Manager.

He was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and Oklahoma University football teams as well as LSU. In earlier years before his health deteriorated, he loved to fish and hunt.

The last three years he has enjoyed his five cows, bull, Russ and four heifers, Betsy, Jasmine, Jenny Girl, and 48. He also enjoyed his red heeler, Amos.

He is survived by his mother, Alcie Baughman, a host of relatives, work family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tracy D. McNeil and his grandparents.
