Katrina was an incredible wife, mother, and nana. She exemplified the fruit of the Spirit in word and deed. She was an incredible Christian example to all she knew and met. During the final

years of her life she spent much of her time lovingly caring for her aging parents and her sister. She bravely demonstrated her unmovable faith as she fought a courageous battle with stage four ovarian cancer. She never questioned God nor complained, steadfastly remaining faithful to the Lord until her death. Katrina had a gentle loving spirit for animals, especially her dogs Buttons, Sandy, Sparki, Toby, ChiChi, Stinker, Bumper, and Smiley. She was also known to help raise little baby birds that had fallen from nests and once raised an orphaned opossum.

Katrina was determined to help people and the medical community during her illness, and participated in many clinical trials for new medications. The family will always be thankful for Dr. Holman and the staff at the Stephenson Cancer Center at OU Medical and Promise Care Hospice.

She gave her life to the Lord and gave her body to science. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Tenaciously Teal
