Brent Mathias Ash

Funeral service for Brent Mathias Ash, age 60, of Cache, Oklahoma, was 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2023, at the First United Methodist Church, 301 West C Avenue, Cache, Oklahoma, with Rev. Faron Griffin officiating. Burial followed in Cache Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mr. Ash passed away Wednesday morning, August 2, 2023, at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Brent Mathias Ash was born on October 11, 1962, to Dale Mathias and Inola Mae (Caldwell) Ash in Lawton, Oklahoma. He attended Cache Public Schools, graduating from Cache High School with the Class of 1980. Brent was united in marriage to Lisa Gentry on May 21, 1979 at the First United Methodist Church in Cache, Oklahoma. He worked for Comanche County as a heavy equipment operator building roads for 20 years. Brent was a lifelong farmer and rancher.
Mr. Ash is survived by his wife, Lisa; daughter, Leslie Jean Frase and her husband Shaun; his mother, Inola Ash; two brothers, Ronald Dale and family and Marlan Todd and family; five grandchildren, Jaycee, Zaylee, Paislee, William and Abby; and, sister-in-law Patty Gentry and her partner, Scott, and their family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale; son, Bradley Thomas Mathias Ash; and parents-in-law, Susie and Wayne Young.
