John Edward Morrow, age 61, loving husband, father, poppa, brother, uncle, neighbor, friend, and more has gone to heaven. Mr. Morrow passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 in Pensacola, Florida. He was born July 31, 1960 in Lawton and was raised in Cache. He was friend to many and a stranger to none. He always gave more than he had to give and even more than that. He always wanted to see a smile on absolutely everyone’s face.

He loved spending time with family and friends. He put so much love into his grandchildren, niece, nephews, neighbors’ children, any children that he met. His favorite past times were spending quality time with those he loved, shooting the bull, telling long entertaining stories, telling jokes, fishing, and hunting. Thanksgiving for John was for hunting with the guys while the spring, summers and fall were for fishing tournaments and his pursuit for the big catch. He always loved cooking for everyone at the hunting camp. Cooking was John’s love language. He always loved to fill the bellies of those he loved with good food. He always filled their souls and hearts with love. He spent Christmas being Santa Claus. He was a real live Santa Claus. He always gave the best presents. He mowed neighbors’ lawns and helped neighbors and strangers. He loved three wheelers and then later four wheelers. Anyone who knows him knows he loved his souped-up trucks and his boats. He had so many amazing trucks that always turned the eyes of those who saw him driving up. He loved music with bass, rap was his favorite. He could out dance any dad out there. He loved OU football and watching all college and pro football. He spent time supporting high school fishing tournaments and watching hunting and fishing shows. He and Jackie always watched the Wheel with all of their many animals. He loved his animals. His cat Tweety always sat on his lap. He made friends with the neighborhood animals especially Honey, the Great Dane. He whole heartedly loved his life, his people and his animals.

John was very proud to graduate as a Cache High School Bulldog. He was a hard worker. He worked in the oil fields and at the Goodyear Tire Plant. He then worked in power plants. Power plants were his passion. He loved to talk about power plants including wind turbines. He always stepped in to help at EZ GO where Jackie worked. He later worked in refineries. He was a project manager. He always made friends with those with whom he worked. Many became friends that are family.

John Edward was preceded by his dad, John Morrow, mom, Hazel Morrow, brothers, Denny and Andy Morrow, and nephew Nathan Morrow.
