Terry Phillips

Funeral Services for Terry Phillips was 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, at First Baptist Church, Geronimo, with Rev. Steve Mallow and Rev. John Cullison officiating. Burial followed in Faxon Cemetery.

Terry Lynn Phillips was born to Clarence Lester and Evelyn Ethel (Curtsinger) Phillips on March 17, 1962, in Lawton, and departed this life at his home in Geronimo, on Sept. 13, 2023 at the age of 61 years, 5 months and 27 days.

Terry lived most of his life in the Lawton and Geronimo area and graduated from Geronimo High School in 1980. Throughout the years he worked for Sutherland Lumber and Bar-S, having worked the past 20 years as a Surveillance Operator for the Comanche Nation Casino in Lawton.

He attended the First Baptist Church in Geronimo. In his spare time, you could find Terry on the golf course.

He was preceded by his parents Clarence and Evelyn Phillips.

Survivors include his wife, Laura of the home; his children: April Phillips of Geronimo, Sasha Perez of Cache, and Daniel Hoagland of Lawton; his grandchildren: Gehrig “Lou” Phillips, Talia Perez and Dave Hoagland; three brothers: Mikeal Phillips and Sherry of Geronimo, Daryll Phillips and Valinda of Cache, and Mark Phillips of Geronimo; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
